I am a Senior Lecturer in Digital Health at the School of Computing Technologies at RMIT University, and an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of IT at Monash University.

I am an interdisciplinary research leader with academic, clinical, and industry experience in developing Translational AI Systems for Healthcare. My expertise spans multimodal learning, foundation AI models, LLMs, clinician-in-the-loop design, and patient-centered studies for diverse healthcare problems.

Before joining RMIT, I was a Research Fellow at the Department of Data Science & AI at Monash University, where I also co-founded the Augmented Intelligence and Multimodal Analytics (AIM) for Health Lab at the Faculty of IT.

I have also had industry research experience at IBM Research Labs in Australia and Panasonic R&D Center in Singapore. I completed my PhD from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University.
